wow, I just read through it all... it's great. I have 2 questiosn though. First, with memories, are they user specific? For example, if I have a keyphrase setup to store their nickname whenever they tell me it. Then let's say a bunch of people tell me their nickname, will that be one memory with a bunch of different possible answers or will it be a bunch of memories, one for each person, with one nickname per memory?

The other question is how easy/hard is it for you to add AIScript features? is it something you're planning on improving more over time? Because I've got a bunch of ideas for it...

There is a separate memory area for each person or bot the bot chats with. So yes, they are user-specific.

Re: adding AIScript features, it depends on the feature, but I wrote really clean code so it's not especially hard to add new statements. Let's hear your ideas.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking of some sort of expiration date for some things. So that the bot would sort of forget things after a while. You could set a given amount of time, in hours/minutes or something and then after that time is up, the memory would be deleted.

I know I've got more ideas but I'm drawing a blank at the moment, I'll post them once I remember...lol

Wow... I'm a bit overwhelmed. I think Ruby is smirking at me realizing that she has passed her creator for learning capacity.

Bots tend to like doing that.

What's the difference between and ? From reading the description they seem like they do the same thing. =/

21 years ago #2523
between huh?

21 years ago #2524
the forum blocked out the AIScript. =/ I was talking about the 2 rmember statements, I didn't see a difference between "as" and "as only"

21 years ago #2525
yeah me neither. I think the as only is supposed to not be in the "list up to 10", it would be the only one.

just tested it, it must have been a typo or something. Using "as only" replaces any memory already using that name, rather than adding another memory to the list.
