Scooby-Doo is awesome. Nobody should say bad thing about Scooby-Doo. I don't care about Mr. Bob because he is a loser and stinks really really badly.

I am worried that your antics and shenanigans will discourage people who come to the site for the first time and are actually interested in programming AI.

This forum is for newcomers to ask questions related to the PF. The seasons forum is for general chit-chat.

Okay, but I have to announce this. Mr. Bob is in love with Crazy. Now I will only use this forum for newcomer chat. I promise.

i've got a couple of PF newbie questions:

1) i put quite a few keyphrases in my first bot (wooly mamet), but i seem to get a lot of xnone results. is there some reference for better keyphrases, or will i only get better results with the advanced and expert features? (i don't want to copy responses, just learn to improve the a.i.)

2) i read the advanced part about memory, but am not sure where it is implemented. is there an example somewhere i am missing?

PF is a very interesting site and concept. i like being able to experiment with this stuff without having to program everything from scratch.

I think the best way to get your bot to start picking up more keyphrases (instead of just answering xnones) is to start thinking about how to respond to basic grammar.

For example: if someone says to your bot "I am _________," is there a way for the bot to respond (and incorporate whatever came after "am")?

I've got a quick "newbie" question: is it possible to upload our own avatars to use, rather than simply using the presets?

You have to email the file to The Professor.

It looks like we can't post images in our AI's chat window. (I can do this elsewhere, as my Web site account allows remote image hosting.) Am I correct in this?
