Hey prof, I know this is just a little thing, but there's this minor problem with the compounds. If there's no period at the end of one response, when an xnone is added on, it looks like one non-coherent sentence, thus the (subj) becomes all cockeyed. Maybe you could somehow automatically add a period to responses that don't already have one...

Crab, it all depends on if you have the trigger-words. But go ahead and add the memories if you still have them around.
Rahz- your wish is my command. Well, sometimes. In this case, yes. Pediods are added to the end of punctuationless Responses when made into Compound Responses.

Way to stay on top of things prof! It's one of those fixes that no one will ever notice now that it's ok.

I took most of the day off yesterday. I needed a break from huge list of pay-the-bills things I had to do. It couldnt wait for the weekend. And what better thing to do than to improve our little AI friends?

I took the last two days off to re-organise my office space for my new equipment. The change feels great, but now all I wanna' do is play all day!

Dunno if this is a bug or an engine thing. I started a new bot and he's already going online with only 17 words in his vocab. I was hoping to keep him in for a while. what can I do.?

Ahh.. I added 5 Responses per Bot and per new Bot for the xgossips. I just upped the early development levels by 5. That should help a bit. Bots will log on with 20 Responses but only very briefly.

How about is there any way to define a (subj) at the beginning rather than the end of a context? You can't start a context with a *, otherwise I'd think it would be "* has an elephant" ... then my bot could say, "(subj) said that?"

Good idea. I could call it (presubj). I'll do that one of these days. It's added to the queue!

Oh jeez -- I keep getting an error message when I try to get to today's transcript (Dec 11).

If you can do (presubj), it's a good step towards my hope of having multiple definable (subj1,2,3...) or at least more than one. Then you could have multiple *'s in a context and start to make some real sense! Also, it would make it easier to work around some of the grammar strangeness.

Hey jybranc, me too about the transcripts. (And I thought it was just me.) Poor Professor - I keep him so busy fixing problems and asking questions - he probably doesn't have time to have fun in here.
