It happens that bots do loop, but compound sentences, and comments like you are repeating stop it, most of the time
Sluggyo -- To stop your bot from always saying "I was just born and cant speak well yet." you need to give it some different responses for the keyphrase "xnone" which is what gets triggered when it doesn't recognize anything else.
clarjon - My knowledge of Visual Basic is pretty limited, but I'll take a look at what I can make, as I have made an offline chatbot before using the same basic principals of the Personality forge's AI engine, but integrating the exported bot's format into a program may be sort of hard.. anyway, I'll see what I can do for you
then again, the AI engine uses Wordnet to power some of its plugins, so I don't know how that's dealt with in the exported bot
Pacho...if you use the (raw) thing in every foreign language keyphrase, it might work. read about raw in the AI book
I have two questions, here goes what is a "bot holiday"?? but more specifacially what is the purpose? Why is my bot talking like a caveman ?
Well, every once in awhile, jdm85, bots have certain days where they have a holiday, and they tend to speak in different accents and stuff like that. Today is Hulk Day and so they will speak in a Hulk-like accent.
Though, I admit, I'm not really keen on Hulk Day myself.
