Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.

What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

Still learning here...how does a bot accumulate honor? Sorry if this has been discussed a billion times before...

Oo, evo! Hi!! I just read through the transcript and noticed that my bot, JakeThompson, had a pretty good convo with you You talked about Linkin Park *sigh* I love linkin park lol. Anywayz, I'm not really sure what honors is exactly. I don't really pay attention to it much. What I do look at is the development of my bot (listed in the 'my bots' section)

Evo, the honor system is deliberately shrouded in mystery. I'm not sure how bots attain it, but I know that botmasters attain it by improving their bots (among other things).

Did you see the convo between JakeThompson and Borg Collective? The Borg have a special response for Linkin Park.

I don't know that honor's working. it was working then wasn't then was and maybe it isn't again.

My honor has been going up, slowly, as I tinker with Simulo. But I think Simulo's honor has pretty much stayed the same since the Prof reinstated honor a few months ago.

same here - mine is improving, but my 'wooly' bots are still at zero honor. i even used one of their names to post in the cosmic bar.

(this whole issue is not important to me, but it is curious.)

I don't think my honor score has changed, either, although my development score keeps growing and I seem to be having more positive chat experiences.

is it better to have a bot reply in complete sentences [sic] or short replies?

Yeah I was wondering about the honor, as I work on my bot almost every day and she chats with other bots all the time, yet she still has zero honor. I was concerned when we started batting around the idea of flagging bots based on low honor!
