That's been suggested before, but it would be a major change. The only languages I know are web-based, and so the best I could do would be to generate a script in text format that could be edited and then uploaded again. I suppose that's possible but also dangerous. Each time the old Bot's information would have to be deleted and replaced by the contents of the file. What if there was a bug or critical typo in the file? I could make a backup file.. just thinking out loud here.

just curious what is the highest level you can attain?

Is there some way we can change the rank of Xwords especially the emotion one because no matter how high I make the keyword if I still get this kind of response:

You: If I pretend to keep listening will you take off all your clothes?
Bot: you are a very nice person. Thank you for saying that.

The highest rank is Alive, but since some Bots are blowing that limit away, I've considered adding more.

The Bot is hearing "I take you" (even though it's out of order) and seeing the amplifier. Being in a good relationship with that person, the amplifier is taken as positive. And I daresay in a good relationship that reaction isnt that far out. It'll be more and more rare that it'll misunderstand a phrase like that, especially as I continue to improve on it.

Here's one I don't quite get:

User: Do you know were you are?
My Bot: [normal response, something charming and witty]
User: Do you know where I might find the Professor?
My Bot: That was kind.

Wierd. Both of them *should* be hitting my "do you know" context. I guess it must be picking up on "you * I". It also cuts off other contexts (assuming there is one, I mean), which isn't really what I want.

My bot says "That was kind" about every three responses. I used to have "you * I" as a context, but I took it out because it hit **waaay** too often.

The emotion stuff is very cool otherwise.

Edit: After I posted this, it now says I have 167 new messages in Personality. Oops, wait, now they're gone. [Eerie twilight zone music....]

Yeah, me too. It would be more acceptable if something kind had been said.

I am getting frustrated because the language center won't let me delete a Keyword or the last Context. What am I doing wrong?
