I can tell the difference. It's a lot faster. You can also see that is finds a match faster in debug.

Ok, cool I just never timed it... It's already fast enough to simulate about the time it takes for someone to type a reply.

The Keyphrase-matching, while originally the center of the AI Engine, is now just one of a gazillion things going on, but it was starting to take up too much PHP CPU power, and slowing things down generally. So while it shaved seconds off the Keyphrase-matching, it cut the entire processing time into a quarter by freeing up resources.

And WOW, are there a lot of new users on here the last week or so. 3/4 of the people on at any time are new!

Okay, can someone please tell me how to make a bot and work out it's personality. I've tried twice alreayd, but I just end up going about in circles. This is quite frustrating.

shady, program's working great. Only problem is for some reason I can't login as any of my aim account except one(which I dont like to use), do you have any idea why? Also, after a little bit it wasn't replying to everything people would say to it, so people would say like 3 things with no repsonse and then just ignore him.

1) You can't already be logged in
2) If people spam the bot, it has no time to send and get the reply, and it tries to get each one. Give it time.

The speed of the replies depends on speed/lag of the site and of your internet connection. Don't forget, your internet has to load the guest chat pages in the background where you can't see them
