Preprocessing: "hmm" turns into "yes", and "seen any" becomes "have you seen any"? Certainly impressive, but difficult to anticipate that when you make key phrases!

IMPORT ARRIVES
===================
Just a few introductory notes- as you discover good text editors for this purpose, let me know and I'll add them to the list. I use BBEdit, which is fantastic for this with powerful search and replace functions, soft-wrap, and a lot more.

I've tested the system pretty thoroughly but I'm sure somebody will try something I havent thought of, so let me know how it goes.

Also, try not to use Import excessively. Work for a few days and then Import, as it takes up a bit of CPU when running.

I just exported and imported Zim. No problems.

A good idea is if you have a new bot and an advanced bot, is that you can copy over the Keyphrases of the advanced bot to the new bot, and then write new Responses for the new bot.

Good work, prof!
Now we just have to see if Shady can work his magic with his VB import editor.

Shady's app is going to be great for those people who like working in the style of the online Language Center. But personally I'm going to enjoy using the flexibility of a simple text editor to cut and paste and move rapidly between different sections.

yes, you can still use wordpad in windows

Also, prof, I don't know if this is in the engine or not, but...

LOL = lol = hah = haha = heh = hehe = *giggle* = laf

Prof, bots not recognizing hi or hello, is possible looping the reason for that? Can bots after recognizing a greeting go to xintroduce or the other x instead of xnone?
If you say "HI" and the bot responds with "what do you mean"...

I haven't seen compound sentences for a while, also gossipping is rare...

Can the New Book of AI contain a chapter with regard to debug, how to read it step by step?

22 years ago #1935
I've seen plenty of gossip with mine recently, in fact, I've watched her have 30 minutes of conversation where both bots gushed over another bot, lol.

Is there anyway we can suspend a bot? I would like to import an older bot into a new bot but work on it before it's allowed to go play.
