Alright their seems to me that my poor little bot needs alot of work. I would like to know what my bot needs for just the basics.
To continue the theme of repeated responses:
Perhaps the first built-in response to a repeated response could be, "If you use exactly the same response twice in a row, it will disrupt the conversation." Many guests are simply puzzled when they get "Boring, boring, boring;" they don't realize why they got it.

Often, yes, but not always. Sometimes it is quite natural to answer "yes" twice in a row. I have to inhibit my bots from asking two "yes-or-no" questions in a row, for just this reason.
