Okay, (key) works with the * but it doesn't work with the (adverb) (verb) (noun), right?

(key1) (key2) (key3) (key4) and so on work for * and (noun) (adjective) (verb) etc. (subj) still only works for the * I assume.
Is that what you meant?

Yes. I understand it now, thanks to Shady who stayed up last night trying to explain it to me (thank you!).

Right- the following are all wildcards that have a (keyX) attached to it: * (verb) (noun) (adj) (adv) (adjective) (adverb).
Something to note as well: the * wildcard will match is something OR nothing is there, while the (verb) (noun) etc wildcards will only match is something is there.

will these new changes be added to the Book of A.I.? I'm having trouble understanding some of them and would like to read them closely.

linloth, I was having the same trouble, then I saw there was an explanation of them linked from the news page. On the top of the right column, I believe.
