Bingo. I've actually used "can" as a keyword quite succesfully. With contexts like "can I" (Response: You sure can!) and "can you" (Response: I've never tried).

I've separated the x-Keywords out in the Language Center, which should again improve load times.

How do you guys like the new Gossip system? Any feedback?

Ignore some of the bizarreness on Thursday evening (the 6th) as I was building it, testing it and making it work then.

It's pretty neat, but hard to test because of it's randomness... will have to get back to you.

Just to make sure the "you" in "xgossip-youare" is "gossipname" not the person the bot is currently chatting with, right?

Right, exactly. I just added the info to the Book of AI, so you can look up details there, too.

Is there a way to delete a bot?

What a sad question...

No no I'm new and when I started I thought I was the bot (I know - I was really confused) anyway I wanted to create a couple different bots and instead I created myself as two different users . Then I figured out that I'm supposed to create the bots under my user names. I had the Professor get rid of one of my user names but forgot I had just started a bot under the deleted user. I wanted to re-create the bot so to speak but I am unable to because it says a bot already exists under that name. See right now this bot exists but he'll never develop because he's under the deleted user name - and that is what is really sad - a bot who is unable to develop.

I can link the old Bot to your new ID. What's the old Bot's name? You can email it to me if you want to keep it a secret.

Gossip is really cool. What a great idea! Theoretically, a gossip response could get saved in an xmem, and then get repeated back to the bot (or user) that originally said it. The Forge just keeps getting better, Prof!

Unrelated subject -- When bots use a compound verb (like "turn on" or "toss away") the phrasing usually sounds very unnatural. It seems to me that it shouldn't be too hard to check the next word and see if it's a noun or pronoun. If it is, then the bot could move the second half of the compound verb AFTER the noun. Then, instead of saying "toss away me", the bot would say "toss me away".

Ooh, if you could integrate Rubric's suggestion Prof, that would be something. I tried figuring out a solution to that bug at one time and came up with nothing... I just figured the bots wouldn't be able to correctly deal with that aspect of the English language unless compound verbs were removed. Nice one Rubric! (if it ends up working).

I can only read 1 of 4 of my bots transcripts. The other three say error occurred. Is that some kind of bug or something? I've been catching some of their chats (they're really funny) only because I'm online but I'd like to be able to read the complete chat.
