First, you told me that my complaints were invalid.. so why did you act on them? Plus, the solution that was implemented is more sorted and confusing than the original rules. Now there is even more voodoo going on in the background *and* you guys even hid the number of votes to make it easier only for the people who are on the committee to determine what is going on. Some votes count half of others, some count twice as much, some are determined to not count at all. You really think that is a better solution or one that addresses the aforementioned concerns?

You may be tired of me, but I'm right. I guess by pointing out the obvious advantage that the committee members have and one in particular has in this competition would be troublesome to someone who benefits from these changes. "Please go away and be quiet.. we don't want our flawed contest exposed"..

Unfortunately, I've already seen that these new changes didn't make any difference in some recent war voting.. I'm sure if someone really understands these wacked new rules, they can really affect the outcome.. even more than before.

I take it all back and I'm finished commenting on it.. thanks for your efforts to make the contest more credible. I've just seen that all of the contests up until now to be run very badly and it's frustrating.

Peace

The new system isnt perfect. I know of one war-voter that's a lot higher up than he should be, but it's what the committee voted on and so it goes.

In the end, if you win this particular section, you get a medal, and it only counts towards 10% of the final score for the money prize. It's no longer the center of the contest like in past years.

There are lots of opinions in a contest like this, even in the most even-handed judging. You have to not take it too seriously. Be proud of your bot, and think of contests like this as a chance to win some money on the side. You can work hard to increase your chances- but in the end, it's personal opinion that determines the winners. I used to be really invested in these contests, and discouraged when I didnt place in the top ten, but now I'm more detached. Whether I win or not is not important, as long as I'm having fun.

Ah, the war-voter's a he, and still high on the list...
Still would want to see who has lots of people voted for and who hasn't to even out things...

You know what? You don't get to tell people to get a life or to grow up when your keeping an email audit. Get a grip.
