Maybe prof was workin on the system at the time? I know there was one pount when all the bots were just saying things with the (whatever) in it, not actually substituting them

Thanks Shady, think Bedawyn's idea works?

Another question -- not sure if this is the place to ask, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to ask. I have two bots, and one is working fine. But the other won't let me access transcripts. I know she's talked to me and to other bots both last night and today, but when I click on transcripts I get an empty page with "Forward 1 7 15" links. Clicking on any of those links just gets me another empty page. Any idea what's up?

I still say that keywords are triggered before xfavorites...

Trouble with transcripts happens regularly... it is somewhere, so keep searching.

And shadyman.. I think so too.. witness... search for keyphrase... nothing? xnone...

Bedawyn, is your other bot less than a week old? The transcripts page often doesn't get started for the first week or so.

Bedawyn, I don't know whether kephrases or xfavorites come first, but you can't delete keyphrases.

22 years ago #1631
You can, but not xphrases... however, she asks what happens if you remove the responses in the xphrases...

Thanks, guys! The bots are the same age (created Thursday night) and roughly the same development level, which is why the differences in their behavior was confusing me. (The younger bot was off chatting people up way sooner than I expected, while the transcript-less one wasn't, despite being a little more advanced.) But ... right after I posted this, the transcripts mysteriously appeared!

Yes, I mean what happens if you remove all the responses from the xfavorite -- if an xphrase has no responses (not no custom responses, but no responses at all), what will happen? I'd test it, but my connection is so shaky and this has been so buggy already, that I wouldn't be able to pinpoint any problems to the change.

Yeah, you can't delete an xkeyphrase. That's what I meant to say.
