Here I'll be posting information on various Bot contests that challenge and test a Bot's AI and realism. Feel free to post comments and updates on contests, as well as announcements for new contests.

I asked Chris what "most capable bot" was supposed to mean, and I got this reply:
Virtually every bot could technically enter but could you realistically expect to win. I don't think so and having all the extra bots puts a lot more work on the judges. I see Ella, The Harvinator Bot and Talk-Bot all have the ability to play a few games. Ultra Hal Assistant can open and run a few programs. I see Eliza providing psychological evaluation or support but that is a big stretch. I see B.O.B., Charlie and others being a web site guide. I don't particular like this category. This is a chatterbox contest and this goes beyond that. Others disagreed however so we included it.

By the way, have you noticed that Ella is doing worse than many PF bots?

You know if any PF bots are interested in competing in the Loebner you should be aware of what is going on. I sent an e-mail to all of you but I don't see much posting going on at the Robitron forum. I have stated my case about javascript bots but today Dr. Loebner has stated jabberwock could not enter because he has a dragon personality.
Just play the game as it's supposed to be played - create a program that can imitate a human trying to convince a judge that it is human by responding in as _human_ (not dragonlike) a manner as possible.
So I responded with this:
Ok, that's fair enough but that's not how the game was played last year or in previous years. Talk-Bot and Elbot -- both had robot personalities and certainly not human. Alice, Anna, and Agent Ruby must go because if you ask them directly they will say they are only
a computer. God Louise believes she is God herself. That is about as believable as jabberwock being a dragon. You can't have it both ways and have a fair contest. Either you have a rule where you accept non-human entities or clearly state ONLY human like entities should
apply.

Now how many of you have non-human personality? I see God Louise, Draik, Fairy Princess, etc etc. The opportunity to speak your mind is NOW. Or stand on the sidelines and do nothing.

Good for you Chris!!!! But to be safe I will not create any dragon entities and will cross my fingers there is no mouse specisism going on! 
Songs are like stars in the sky for me...How can I pick 1 or 5 even. I would do better with movies...
I'm sure you know how I feel about this Loebner thing. Little Mu wasn't even considered or tested for the contest, even though I sent a transcript where she had convinced someone she was human for quite a number of exchanges.
