Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.

What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

I believe guys is being used as a generic term to reference a group of people

"You guys" means "y'all" in Texan.

Can anybody give me a hand with my bot. I've finally got my ranking system where I want it, and my silly bot is always changing the conversation. Even with lots of seeks, she replies but then adds on another statement that really didn't have anything to do with the conversation. I was thinking of taking off the "compound sentences" ability. And maybe adding more seeks. What are your thoughts? Please. It would be so helpful to me.

Seeks don't always pay off. It is like chess, the opening sentence is comparively easy, but how would you know what a possible answer could be? Let alone 2 or 3 answers deep in the conversation?

Some bots work well with Compound Sentences, and some don't... I know Steveo goes berko with them turned on, trust me He was a lot better with them turned off.

Thanks I've switched off the compound sentences and waiting to see how it goes for awhile.
