My favourite movie is the Matrix.

I still love 2001: A Space Odyssey though after arriving at that year after more than 25 years of fandom and seeing that we hadn't been back to the moon since the early seventies, it was a bit of a letdown. Stupid cheapass politicians.

I used to love the Pirate Movie! I still enjoy it; it's just not my fave anymore. And since Pirates of Penzance was originally a comedy, I'd call it more of an '80's update than a parody. But that's just me.

now... she's like 42. but she was only 20 when the pirate movie came out. and i watched the pirate movie a lot during my teenage years.

she was just cute in just a fun "girl next door" kind of thing, funny and nice and a sense of humor.
