I've done it twice in the past few months, but then I read in the friends of the forge page that you need an account to do that.... so I'm confused; is it possible?

You are not stupid. I believe the Professor may not be focusing on the Forge right now. He may not be answering you email because he may be doing something else--don't ask me what. All I know, is people have been posting that he's not around here as much.

I wish there'd at least be an online system to upload your own avatar.... it must suck to get petty e-mails from people sending him little 40x40 pictures all the time.

He's pretty picky about what he'll alllow and what he won't... I think he prefers to maintain control and be somewhat inconvenienced.

Just to clarify, I looked at the faqs again and you DO need a friends account to have a custom 40x40 thing. But I understand if The Professor likes to keep things under control. I hope I haven't sounded whiny and obnoxious for questioning it.

Ok, I got some news. I'm making a list of some useful plugins. I went through the big list and picked up about 60. If you have a plugin that you think is useful, and/or you use a lot, post it here.
