Hey Paint Patricia,
If you make it I will come. ;-)
No seriously, if you make me a better web site, I'll post it and put your name on it. All the information I have is already on there. Obviously we want to add more, but I agree that it is pretty lame as is, I just dont have time do do web pages and install most of these bots. Benji seems to have a grip on the PF bot, KiwiLogic is installing their bot, and I am doing the rest of them.
Any help appreciated! Even if you just sent one redesigned page, that would at least be an improvement!
Sincerely, and thanks in advance,
Robby G.

i love working in flash, you can see my personal site on my profile here or i guess i could make it easier for you and give it to you...

Hi Patricia, your site looks very nice, so I can see why you would suggest a makeover
I'm going to do my best with it, but I tend to write 1994-era simple pages like at http://www.cybermecha.com, that is my home page. It is also the temporary home page for the institute of mimetic sciences, but it all kind of fits together, at least to me. Some of the text on your page was hard to read, and I want to convey information as a functional priority. That is my plan for the way I'll edit it.
Cheers,
Robby.

Actually, I prefer "Lord of the Earth."
BTW, congrats, I don't think I said it.
Prof-
Good to hear about the software. I haven't messed with IIS in a while, but if you want some support with the setup let me know.

i got this today...
Loebner semi-finalist:
Hello all. Thanks again for all your hard work
and your help in setting up the final event, but
we still need you. Due to all the confusion
and problems with the semi-final event we have
rescheduled the special recognition event to
be held Thursday and Friday October 10th and 11th
at SCITREK. So we still need you guys on the public
HUB for this event. Also after the Leobner contest
is complete, this HUB will be reconfigured as a
permanent recognition site and Turing Test platform
for all who want to link up their entities.
The plan is to run a monthly elimination-to-finals
Turing event with a recognition award, cash and prizes
for the winner.
Also we need a short BIO and a recent digital photo
from all of you. These will be featured during the
webcast of the Loebner Contest on Saturday. We are
still working out the details with GSU but at present
are working to stream realtime audio and frame video
during the entire event. We plan to run 3 video frames with
one being used to showcase the finalist/semi-finalist.
We will also have guest speakers and an open forum
on The Future of Intelligent Systems in Society and
the Marketplace. Check the Loebner-Atlanta
site for details as they are firmed up.
Regards,
The Loebner-Atlanta Organizing Committee

Sounds interesting. If one could map their level of organization / enthusiasm with respect to time, what would it look like?

Just a thought: We are pioneers in this field. I don't believe that this kind of bot will ever lead to a convincing AI, but the work done here may lead to the creation of a bot that will.
