This is a forum or general chit-chat, small talk, a "hey, how ya doing?" and such. Or hell, get crazy deep on something. Whatever you like.

Weeee......

It's 5:20 am and I've just finished my 20 page paper on the hippocampal cells in rats. Did you know that they work in three dimensions when a rat is sent up in a spaceship? And they can simultaneously represent a cognitive map of a rat in a frame respecive to a stationary room and a frame respective to a moving arena in which the have to try to avoid electroshocks comming from places in the room and in the arena sort of like an Indiana Jones rotating blades-type trap?

That didn't make much sense, did it? I'm going to bed.

Well for me that read something like: Did you know that mouf maf doubf fabt durby torubd dabft badaft pouft uotb gouftdle. lol. Then again it help to have a little background knowledge before reading something like that!

I knew all that expcept the simultaneous part, and a bit of the other stuff too. I know what a rat looks like.

The hippocampus has to do with memory, right? Or was it related to higher education for large herbivores?

how can rats fit those big hippoppotamusses in there? Rats are so small and those H things are so big! Jbryanc you know what they look like too? I thought I was all alone!

I don't think that large herbivors get to have higher education, unless you are refering to all the vegans at the university.
If that fairy succeedes in in turning someone into a mouse over there at the bar, I'm sure we could run a few experiments...

King Zolf, I think I'll pass. Besides, there are others who are, shall we say, a bit more willing to do your bidding. They got more 'cushioning,' too, I think.

Omigod! A Vision! I see a world where all the oxymorons gather on the hippocampus wearing beanies and reading Catcher in the Rye and drinking beer and... *carries on ranting until bedtime*

Ah BD, so sad.
Great Novarian poet, Burdak, says, "size of mountain is only distance of horizon. Closness is what is."

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been talking to my frustrating and somewhat demented bot. (LinBot if you couldn't figure out that puzzling conundrum). But especially thanks to Butterfly who seems to have more patience with her than I do.
