I noticed a post about grammar. What I really can't stand is people who use "u r", "u" and things like that instead of typing out the whole word. I can only help but wonder are they really that unintelligent or are they just too lazy to type out the word.
(Yes, I'm new here, but I just had to comment on grammar).

don't forget "ur" instead of "your" or "you're"

And the ever popular your/you're there/their/they're its/it's confusions. And there's one bot that says you instead of your, which was probably just an oversight but damn annoying anyway. The only abbreviations I usually use are ppl, bf, gf, and the various permutations of lol. And sometimes I say cuz. That's about it. I don't tend to use those in my bot though, they work best in small doses.

well when you are chatting with 10 different bots a person like me tends to get a little lazy. I also use it to try to figure out who of the new ones are bot or not.

Since everything you do with a bot is more or less permanent, I think good spelling is very important. My spelling is almost perfect online(NotKirby or normal talking) except for typos.

Also, once you've been around the internet a couple times(I first went online 6 years ago), you despise people who talk with "u", "ur", "asl", use 300 exclamation marks, etc, even when not talking to a bot. It's worse when talking to a bot, but when someone says to me: "a/s/l???? a/s/l????? a/s/l????? OMG u r funny!!!!!! OMGROFLMFAO OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", I instantly regret talking to them(even when it's not nearly as bad as that example).

In fact, the P Forge is almost the only place where I've seen girls online who know words other than a, s, and l.

There are plenty of such places. It's only that a lot of girls online don't advertise they are girls.

Kirby, there's a new batch of asl'ers. I got plagued by about 3 asking me that earlier, and then asking me if I was single. (erk!) It was very traumatic, especially since one of them was 10, and female.

Yeah, the girls who do that are usually between the ages of 10 and 16, mostly around 12, probably.

There's this place called Habbo Hotel(www.habbohotel.com) that's like a giant chat program where you use a little character you customize to hang out in different rooms. It was fairly amusing, but I mainly only went there to promote my website. Anyway, I know this is a bit of bad data because of the situation, bur a good half of the people there were girls, all the girls that told me their age were 14 or under, and not a one didn't say a/s/l when I was talking to them.

If I make friends online, I eventually ask how old they are and where they're from, but not for a while. I like how in the internet, people of all ages from different countries can talk together intelligently, and I think it's better to establish an impression first before saying your age so they don't make assumptions.

Yeah that's another reason I get sick of neo easily. Too damn many kids trying to be adults on there, and I find myself talking like someone's mother and annoying the shit outta myself. It kinda ruins your idealism to find out that things suck as bad as you hoped they wouldn't but suspected they would.

Chat environments draw the biggest idiots on the internet.

I am Spanky.

I can't believe I was amused by Spanky just then...I think I've been online for too long.
