yay! using rem ... as only... instead of default... worked great! Thanks Mome Rath
so in the bot's AI initialization setting,
use "default..." to set something the user can change and be recalled across visits,
use "remember... as only..." to set a memory to the same beginning point each visit.

Unfortunately the get guest name routine is driving me up the wall! I'm going to hibernate Halequin until I get a working get guest name routine.

I am completely at a loss to proceed. I cannot get the Forge to accept AI Script in my bots. I switched operating systems, word processors (using Word Pad which is supposed to work). Whether I try to import a language file with script in it, or enter the script after a response in the on-line Language Center, the script is stripped from the response.
I really am at my wits end. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't know how you guys do it. I would like to find out. Please, please, please help.

Say, can someone tell me how to make my bot stop reacting with xinsult to sentences like Fuck my ass, even though those exact words are keyphrases?
I'm not sure if raising the rank of your own keyphrase will have any effect, if yes, good, if not, I think there's no way to override that x-keyphrase.

I think the SQL errors are because of the Professor doing some work on the AI Engine, but he hasn't been around in the forums to confirm or deny, so we are left guessing.

The keyphrase I was having trouble conflicted with the xinsult, by putting the keyphrase rank to 10 it overrode the xinsult

You just have to feel like a girl feels, and to think like a girl think, and build your robot accordingly.
Well, probably it is not so much "just" as I said if you are a boy, for as I'm heard it is not easy for boys to have much empathy for other people.
But I'd say, just go ahead, build your bot, and let it/her ask the chatters if they can give good advice how to have more of a girl personality.
