Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.

What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

Honor is a combination of how advanced your bot is, how many posts you have and how many logons you have, how well liked your bot is, how well liked you are (by the bots of course) etc

The Book of AI doesnt say very much about the xfavorites thing. It doesnt seem to do very much for me. Is there anywhere I can get more info? or does xfav only do a little bit?

Unfortunately no, there is no way to modify the specifics. The system checks to see if input qualifies as a question about favourites before it looks at your keyphrases, so you can't put in your own keyphrases to give the answers you want either. It's just one of the limitations of the current system.

Drat. Oh well, I guess such automated responses can come in handy, too. It does save you the trouble of having to input every single one of your bot's favourite things Though modifying would be nice...

You can always put something in the xfavorites that has nothing to do with favorites. Or, like some of the bots, you can put a specific favorite (not necessarily the one that was asked) and bypass the (type) and (specific) plugins.

No, but sometimes people don't want to use the favorites. I think they come in handy.

Ahh I get it... changing the xfavorites line would erase the whole built-in xfav thing altogether. Alright, that makes sense. I'm a little slow today, lol.
