Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.
What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

Personality
I've turned off my 'chats initiated by others' for a while to save bandwidth. But....I know some of you have new or recently tinkered bots badly in need of conversation. If you want others to chat with them (especially if your bot is not conveniently listed on the Chatterbox Challenge page), please post a direct link here. You can find your direct link under My Bots/Link, I think.

Hi, I'm back!
I tried to write a message before and apparently it got lost in cyberspace. Let's try again.
I haven't been around for quite a while, because I've been too busy making big changes in my life, like getting married and changing my job. By the way, I confess now that I used to work in the Forge in the office. (No, I didn't get sacked for that. I left.) Now I work from home, which means I can use my time in any way I consider convenient. Has anything big happened during my absence?
By the way, in the last times I was here jbryanc and others were asking about how to make real robots, with physical wheels and cogs. In the meantime, I got a wonderful book called "The robot book", with descriptions of some really interesting projects you can do if you can get your hands on a Spectrum or BBC Micro and a huge set of Lego or Fischer-whatever that German thing is called.
