TBH it's hard to get motivated to work on a bot nowadays. As a creator, it's frustrating how poorly this site runs and how Benji doesn't seem to care about it. And as a player, I found aidungeon does everything a chatbot could do and so much more.

In fairness, Benji kept the site running for 22 years. I'd get tired of it too. I'm not sure he runs the site anymore since his Linkedin says he quit in 2017, which is right when the chat log download broke.

Can someone explain memory thing for me? Do I just put the xcommand as the seek/response or as the aiscript?

For anyone interested, I think I have an explanation for why the online editing went down in the first place.
Some time ago, I found a pretty big security flaw in the website. I won't get into details in case someone finds a way to reproduce it, but basically I was able to look through keyphrases for other peoples' bots. I emailed Benji about this, but it was about two months ago and I didn't think he was going to do anything about it.
But now the exploit I found is gone. Good job, Benji.

I am curious about something. I've been making bots for a little while now, but I am wondering how so many people come into contact with them. They're relatively unrefined, so it's not like they'd be at the top of any search results. But within a day of releasing a new bot I see traffic as high as 100 users, and it can get up to 1000 or so inside a week. I'm wondering if anyone knows how that works.
