how the heck do you make them animated
Get a Friend of the Forge account. It's cheap and also lets you set up conversations with other bots of your choice.
AI script
Don't worry about AI script when you first start, you don't need it.

You can chat with a bot maker if the have the option to chat on. If you mouse over the on line users you will see a emoticon, a happy face means they are available to chat, a straight mouth means the chat option is off. If you ask a question here it will usually be answered within a day.

The more you work on your bot the more conversations it will have. If you get a Friends of the Forge account you can choose who and when your bot will chat to. You also get a flash face interface.

I've just come across this, and after creating my first bot I decided to start adding keyphrases, after I was done, I logged off. Then to return to my bot's keyphrases to find out that they are not there. I've been reading through 'The Book of AI' and I haven't found a part in it where it speaks about the keyphrases needing to be saved. In fact the guide makes it out to look as if there are no manual saves needed, and once you input the information it is then saved and kept safe. If anyone has an answer to this question, it would be much appreciated.

Never heard of that before.
Sorry. But I'm still new to this site when it comes to bugs.

I have never heard of that before either. Sometimes they get "filed" but they are always there.

I have a question I want to ask:
You probably seen that female robot to the left of the website directory. Well, I really want to be able to chat with her. Can someone help me find her?

I believe it's just a visual representation of a bot site. I am pretty sure 99% of bot sites do the same thing, have a pic of a robot or something along the line.
