HOPS, it was no written! I mean BR...

In the POST it works as "end of line!"

Hi Marco3b,

br should work. Does it look OK in the language center after you save it (I mean does it have two lines in the reply there)?

yes, but doen't work in my kyphrases...

Thanks anyway!

I'll let you in on an open secret, marco3b: the AIengine doesn't always do what it is supposed to do! So one learns to adopt a sort of statistical approach...

Of course, you shouldn't just assume, if something turns out differently from what you expected, that it's the AIengine's fault. But if you begin to feel as though you are beating your head against a wall, well, try something else!

I have had a hard time making line breaks using the interface. Try the import feature.

I used the angle-bracket-br-angle-bracket line break to break lines of poetry in responses for "Irina Khalidar". The result looks all right on the transcript, but I don't know what it looks like in the popup.

I have a bot that used tic tack toe from Psi's page with the br breaks in it, and it was fine, but I did upload it. It doesn't make sense to me that it should only work in import, but there you are. ???

Marco,
After thought: what browser do you use and what is the KP to test on your bot? Let me see if I get breaks.

Thansk Bev.
I'm using Mozilla Firefox as browser.
A KP that should answer with breaks should be "do you know a poetry on our final destiny?" it should answer with a little poetry in 8 lines... other more simple question still not work correctly in my robot.

Hy all, I'm really boring, but need help to understand syntax here!

Anyone knows why this KP is not matched?

"(are you|do you) ((adv)|) ((verb)|) (a|an|the|) (book|reader)"

I thoght it should match sentences as:

"do you really have a book?"
"are you reading book like this"
"are you a reader?"

It is strange, but I always have xnone!

I'm not sure you can combine plugins with regular expressions that way. Try using several different keyphrases instead, e.g.,

are you (a|an|the) reader?
do you (adv) read (a|an|the) book?
do you (verb) (a|an|the) book?
do you (adv) (verb) (a|an|the) book?

You could combine them all on one line with commas, or you could give each one its own responses.
