I'm having some probs, my bot keeps saying: Sorry, there are no valid Responses for me to choose from. when he begins the conversation (once an awhile)..I boosted up all of his respnses on his greetings to 5, 5 anyone know whats up? thanx,
jdm85 do your responses have any conditional ai script that is not being met. or have you set or are your emotion to narrow, leave some -5 to 5
I had the same problem. Make another response to each of the following: xhello, xintroduce, xinitiate. Make sure the emo range is -5 to 5 for all of them.
Sure. They just don't have the sense to be doing it. (Among other things, they ought to work on spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Just read the a little into the Book of AI (no need to read the Advanced and Expert sections when you're starting off). That should get you started.
