I can't seem to get memory and gossip stuff right. I read the book of AI but somehow it just isn't computing with my brain. Can anyone offer an explanation in different words?

Hello can my newborn bot speak anything more than three phases?

I'm also having the same trouble with memory and gossip. I just don't undertand what the Book of AI is telling me either

Go to your bots, click on settings on your bot and choose how often you want a bot state memory or gossip.

how long does it tske the bot i buld to get to where they can talk i buily one yesterday

That depends on how well you want it to talk. Your bot can talk as soon as you create it, but for it to be able to hold good conversations can take quite some time.

ya my bot is, below average and I've had it for over a month. Working on it as much as possible every morning. Haven't been putting much effort into it lately though.
(STOP CHANGING THE SUBJECT!) anyway, yeh.

Could you perhaps distribute a template to people who have no idea how the stuff works, for offline editing, so that they can have a start on their bot?

That would mean that all bots turn out the same, it's trial and error, use your imagination
