Bot Contest

LM, it is fair to have your friends and family vote for your bot. I even checked this with Wendell a while back. They know people have their friends vote. It's all part of the game. You should at least ask your friends and family to visit the site. The more people who visit the site the better.

yearh i know bev,but thats not the only reason. i suppose i would feel a bit put down because i want to earn my votes and i suppose i would feel better than just getting my friends and family to vote,you see what i mean? it may be allowed but its not the only reason i would feel funny about getting them to vote.

i have just had a sudden theory. the highest person with the highest number of votes may have the highest number of votes than all the other bots..but count up all the people who didn't vote for her/him. you'll find its a lot higher than the highest number of votes. :O

Well, if 33% of the voters vote Liberal, 23% vote Conservative, 19% vote Democrat, 17% vote Bloq Quebecois, and 8% vote Green Party/Other... The Liberals still win the election even though 67% of the voters didn't vote for them (as it was for quite a while..). We have a LOT of political parties, which really dosen't help either..
