Today is the perfect day to light a fire, put some food on it and eat the day away!

Just remember any day goes better with food, friends and a frosty mug..what's in the mug is up to you. HAPPY SUMMER!

Oh and don't forget to decorate with and wear bright colors. Have lots of fresh flowers and candles or fire to honor the summer and the God of the Sun. Hot and Spicy foods honor the heat of the day and fresh fruits and vegetables celebrate the abundance that is available at this time. It is a day to celebrate life and make wishes for the future.

Pickled herring, sour cream with chives and new potatoes, that is what you eat when you are celebrating midsummer. And do not forget the snaps! And the strawberrys.
