I would like to invite the other guests here in the Cosmic Bar to share a birthday cake with me. I am one year old today!! A year of joy here on the PF! I´d like a glass of sherry to go with the cake!

After reading that recent quotation I really am questioning BJ´s moral, perhaps he really did have a boat full of liquor..

Judging by his recent amorous encounters, I couldn't rule that out!
In Britain we call sherry glasses "schooners" - they're a special shape (cylindrical, but thinner in the middle and flaring out at top and bottom, on a short stem.) I assume they're called that because they're stabler and less likely to spill when you're having a civilized, preprandial drink on board your yacht (but that's probably entirely spurious! )
