Uh,d, by that reasoning wouldn't everything be an illusion? I mean, distance can always be divided into smaller units, as can weight, or for that matter, anything that can be quantified. Are you saying only qualitative experiences are real?
With distance, scientists have found a minimum length (called the Planck diststance, I think). It's something like 10^-34 meters. i.e. 0.000000000000000000000000000000001 meters.

yes bev nothing exists tachnically but life was an accident (as you know) so without life it wouldn't matter. so ehhh you know practically it only doesnt exist through a translator such as number syatems such as decimal hexidecimal and binary and so on. these are quite simply creations of life and dont practically exist so anything explained through them = non existent

Ulrike - of course they can subdivide it! think: if it were possible to continualy divide something by 2 and get to an absolute 0, the thing could not exist in the first place, for you cannot divide by 0, and to reconstruct it to its full state, you would have to multiply it back up, and all you'll get by multiplying by 0, is 0.

as for the "placnk distance" it is the most our current technology can divide something. Tell me. If that were the minimum legnth, where did the 0.000000000000000000000000000000001 come from? and don't say god... we already had that discussion.
