Vampire watermelons? Yes, I remember those Gypsy superstitions. Not just watermelons, but pumpkins also. Ten days after Christmas, they would start growling and rolling around and would be smeared with blood. It doesn't really work, though. They just go rotten -- no blood whatsoever. Gypsies, on the other hand, taste very good ten days after Christmas.
