Well, I saw the hitchikers guide that just came out, and i think with the special effects and all, it was pretty good. I saw the bbc version a just the other day...and it seemed to drag it out more, but it followed the book and dialogue a bit more. I was wishing they would include milliways in the new version, but maybe they'll come out with a sequel, eh?

I tought that movie was great. Allthough I did freak out the whole cinema by screaming "hell yeah!" when the star wars revenge of the sith advert came on at the beginning.

Has anybody seen the bbc version of hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy? 81 or 93 or something, it's out on dvd now. I think arthur dent is simon jones...? Anyway, I was watching an old Carey grant movie "to catch a theif" and it was recorded off the television program by a friend of mine, and in one of the commercials, I swear, it's the same arthur dent, doing a commercial for GTE. Gave me quite a kick. accent and everything. lol.

did anyone see "the day after tomorrow"? What a liberal movie! although it did leave me with a profound sense of humility...

I would be totally fine with seeing Star Wars, but those obsessive people in the Jedi costumes with their lightsabers scare me.
