The lego mindstorm kit is cool, but it only does exactly what you program it to. If you really want some adaption you need to learn neural networks and get a Khapera robot

There has been much talk as to how to use Neural Nets in the Lego kits and I have seen some of the coding for it

Oh wow. Actually, now that you mention it, I remember hearing at my lab that people were trying to teach lego robots how to play soccer (apparently the ones that won were the ones that learnt to commit fouls...).

actually turing it was sony AIBO's that were reprogrammed to play the game in order to see if robots could demonstrate pack behaviour.

Nah, this was another thing. Shadyman was right, this was lego robots with neural networks in them. However, the Aibo thing also sounds cool - did it work?

actually it did. They began to show immergent pack behaviour. (yes I know that I can't spell worth a sh*t)
