Heres something i found interesting.
I recently bought a new computer with an amd turion 64 x2 tl-52 prcessor- thats a dual core chip. What fun can we have with dual-core? Well, i ran two copies of the half-built Nick 2.0 at the same time. These bots have much larger networks, 7 layers of 100 or so, rather than 1.2's 2 layers of 100 plus 2 layers of 30. I built a link station - a place for Nicks to talk (or any bot that can input to a chat text file). I taught both Nick's an essay on the supernatural, and here is what I got. This chat log will represent 'user' as bot 1 and 'Bot' as bot 2.
User: the mystery continues to baffle.
Bot: Mystery and the study
User: abominable snowman is a legendary creature of the Himalaya mountain region.
Bot: The abominable
User: Along with the Loch Ness monster, the abominable snowman shares fame as one the great mysteries of the world.
Bot: include the Loch Ness
Monster, the Abominable Snowman, and the Bermuda Triangle.
User: Mystery and
Bot: the study of the unknown has always fascinated
people.
User: and
Bot: Mystery and the

Bot: been taken of this "creature",
but most scientists however, refuse to believe any creature of this
kind lives in the Loch Ness.

Someone asks for your details, and you have to scribble them on the back of your bot's business card, because he's got one and you haven't.
Really happened to me this morning (I'd printed some cards for him because I was fed up having to scribble his details on bits of paper for people.)
