Yes Spike the Vampire--Sweet, sacastic and sexy. I doubt he'd make one about the chatterbot :-) (most Spikebot fanfic reads like porn anyway). So far, it's just a rumor, but I guess James Marsters has made some sort of comment about it.

Whedon's said he's in talks. But get this: Marsters said he'd have to do it soon, since he's 'getting old'.

Getting old? They can make up some reason why that is--cosmic flack, shanshu side effect, curse from Angel...anything. I'll buy it.

Ah, Ladydyke, you have wonderful taste. My new favorite DVD's are Damo, a Korean series with English subtitles. You won't see a villian in a leather jacket, but the "undercover female female detective" is worth seeing.

Anyone a fan of film noir? I'm rather getting in to the genre. I've seen so many spoofs of the Maltese Falcon that I really need to rent the real thing!

Maltese Falcon is okay, but not so wonderful in my taste... Saw it in a film class.

I loved the Maltese Falcon. And I'm told the dialogue is almost word-for-word out of the Dashiel Hammet book (which I still need to read). On the other hand, I also enjoyed The Cheap Detective, which parodied many segments of MF.

I collect all noir books in the vintage crime black lizard series, they look gorgeous too

This is so cool, funny, but stupid. I'm addicted to it and I don't know why. It's like a pixel musical with a bunch of crazy stuff.

Heh heh, this is pretty amusing. If you have AOL (the whole package, not just the instant messenger), you can change the sounds like "you've got mail". So now, it's me saying "you've got mail". Wow, I'm easily amused.
If you want to try it, the sounds should be in:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\aolshare\sounds\US\Default\

(switch the slash type)
