This is a forum or general chit-chat, small talk, a "hey, how ya doing?" and such. Or hell, get crazy deep on something. Whatever you like.

Because this unmade bed has been oohed and aahed by critics? (That was sarcasm, btw)
I don't get the displaying of random everyday stuff as art. If someone painted a picture or made a sculpture that represented an unmade bed, it would make a bit more sense to me: more room for making it actually mean something. I do think that "art" should indicate some skill went into the piece, rather than just some offball idea. *shrugs*

I'm convinced! I have seen very little Professional wrestling, but if they can do those things without hurting each other, they are obviously very skilled!

Unmade beds: sometimes it is necswessary to remove something from its enviornment in order to se the beauty of it. Dont get me wrong: I think the unmade be thing is pretty lame but thats not to say that all art of that variety is.

Irina: Skilled is an understatement! If two guy fought doing even the simplest set of wrestling move set to eachother w/o breakfalls and cooperation paralysis and or death would be the outcome in almost every case

So, to the aficionados, it's defiance of death, like trapeze artists?

hmmm, not so much, you see when it is done correctly by both parties there is little to no pain involved- let alone risk of death... when done correctly... the line between correct and incorrect can be pretty damn fine in some moves- especially when one is all adrenalized. Its like rock climbing: you dont climb it with the thought "Wow i'd really die if i fell halfway up that thing" but moreover you go "damn that looks like a really fun climb". In the same way one does not say "You know if we fuck up this crucifix powerbomb i'll never walk again"- so though it may be a defiance of death, so is crossing the street, moreso maybe depending on your residence and level of distraction, its not actively felt like one. When doing it it feels a lot like a cooperative vaudvile routine of simulated violence coupled with a ballroom dance street brawl.

My god I had an incredible dream last night! I woke sobbing... http://revscrj.deviantart.com/journal/ is my blogged recounting of it if anyone cares.

I had a dream that a guy down my street had a motorcycle that was taller than I was. LOL that was weird.
Oh and some F***er burnt down the hair salon at college the other day. That was a great department. I know, I'll get all the catoring lot together, bust out the rolling pins and cleavers and go on a little witch hunt!

My friend had the best dream ever the other day. She was at her dad's house and walked into the bathroom to find water pouring out everywhere and her grandad trying to stop it by nailing glass to the walls. Unsurprisingly, this didn't work so she asked him where the problem was coming from. He pointed to under the sink. She asked why he couldn't fix it and he said that U2 were in the way. She looked and sure enough, there were Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam sitting under the sink with their feet screwed to the floor. She handed them a screwdriver so they unscrewed themselves and walked out. She then turned back to her grandad and asked if he could fix the problem now. "No," he said, "Just because I cannot see them doesn't mean they are not there."
I wish my dreams were as deep as that.

I had a dream a few days ago, was quite emotional for me . Dont think I should talk about it on here though, for the sake of others.

A dream I can share with you however involves me, my mother, and one of my old teachers.
I was in a dark, brick room, with a kind of square brick bit with brown fencing on top of it, and a short set of stairs leading up to it.
I walked towards the stairs, entered the 'square' to be confronted by a black abyss inside. Standing there, my mother and teacher both look at me, and nod. Next thing I know, ive thrown myself into this abyss, I was falling for about 20seconds on average (I say on average, because this was a common dream for me a few years ago). Rather than waking up quickly, I wake up slowly, the darkness fades into my room.

Any thoughts?

Wow! Remarkable! Perhaps the teacher and mother figure represent aspects of yourself, or spirit guides.

I don't say that with any certainty, it's just a thought!
