This is a forum or general chit-chat, small talk, a "hey, how ya doing?" and such. Or hell, get crazy deep on something. Whatever you like.

There have been better ideas for car engines, but you know how it is...the big Ford, GM, tycoons buy the carburator or whatever it is from the dude for couple mil and never use it. I had a friend who bought a new pickup, filled it up with gas, drove it until it should have been empty, and went to fill it up again, only to find it still almost full. He took it to a car shop...big mistake...to tell them about it and see what the deal was...and when he came back, they'd replaced the carburator with another one, and he never got it back...

Maybe it is true, do you know what this could mean?

Yeah, I saw that. But you gotta understand, greed is a big thing here. Don't you think oil interests could pay off the auto industry moguls to not implement new efficiency items into their vehicles? And believe it or not, there are ways to get better mileage by manipulating gasoline intake. My dad tried it when he was younger and more reckless, and it worked, but it was rather dangerous, so it wasn't exactly a good idea. I can't tell you what it is, because Ford paid me a couple mil not to release it. well, not really, but I can't remember exactly what the trick was.

I think it had something to do with putting the gas under vacuum, but there was more to it than that.

A handful of folks around here have had their vehicles changed to biodiesel. They run on used fryer oil from restaurants. Some of them have to process it first. Some of them, you can put the oil right into something that looks suspiciously like 'Mr. Fusion' from the Back to the Future movies.

In the war years, coal burners were put on cars, with a converter thing on them, and worked good.
