The moon enters penumbra at approximately 9
5 PM, Eastern Daylight Time, reaches middle of eclipse at 11:40 PM and leaves penumbra at 2:14 AM. The beginning of the umbral phase visible in Europe, southern Greenland, eastern North America, Central America, South America, most of Antarctica, Africa, western Middle East, the Atlantic Ocean, the southeastern Pacific Ocean and the western Indian Ocean; the end visible in southern tip of Greenland, North America except extreme northwest, Central America, South America, part of New Zealand, most of Antarctica, western Africa, western Iberian Peninsula, the Atlantic Ocean except extreme northeast and the eastern Pacific Ocean.

The eclipse was great! I went camping last night to see it. It looked like someone was eating the moon like a cookie, and then it went all orange. And then it got uneaten.
Then all the spirits came out when the alignment of worlds caused a tear in the fabric of reality, and we had a pretty hairy encounter with a creature from the dungeon dimensions, but that's another story...

No more school for the kiddies around here. It's going to be hectic for awhile with all the pent-up energy the kids kept in just now bursting out!
There went my peace of mind and places of serenity.
