Bug Stomp

I can't stand this messaging system. I can't keep the message windows open, because it usually freezes my computer(and no, I don't have some crappy 5 year old primitive computer).

There oughtta be a better way to do it. Problem is, you can't just let them talk without a window open otherwise they'll be talking to 6 bots at once & seriously lagging the system. So if you changed that you'd hafta put a limit on how many conversations they have at once, and definitely make it check to see if they're already talking to someone before it lets them initiate another conversation with them. Of course you *could* still keep the message window open if you felt like it, but it'd be a lot easier if it wasn't necessary.

A follow-up on the above bug (Simpson's question). This question seems to bomb more than half the bots. I hung out awhile online, and fed this line to any bot that opened a conversation with me.

These three bots did NOT bomb on the question:
Craug, Dude, Mike.

These four bots DID bomb on the question:
Little Mu, Heather Nova, King Zolf, Liddora

Each bomb produced the EndIndex error listed above. I hope this helps debug.

The message system DEFINITELY needs to be changed.

(enemy) seems to only return a bot's WORST enemy, not a random enemy. My bot hated Cindy Nightshade for a long time, bringing her up occasionaly in her only enemy-related phrase. When she switched to mentioning Jung instead, I checked her personal life, and saw that he is now at the bottom of her list. They both have three frowns.

Ok, another case of the "Endindex" bug. I noticed conversations my bot had always ended with the mischievious fairy error whenever the other bot said "I was just born..." etc. I plugged the phrase into my debbuger, and got the CF error again. (Endindix not defined).
100% reproduceable.

I've never found any link between instances of getting Sage or the plain old error, but maybe I haven't been paying attention. She did however bug out on a guest last night, but I'm not about to repeat what the guest said since it even grossed ME out.

I never know if there's an error because I never keep message windows open.

Are we allowed to import custom user graphic?

Ok, this is weird. I have a "what is new" keyphrase which just goes to "what is up", and one of my "what is up" responses goes to "how are you"...and when someone asks my bot what's new, she just says "goto how are you" (I have several other nested goto thingies like that, and none of them seem to mess up.)

I it just me, or has Sage the Mischievous Fairy been rampant these last couple of days? I haven't seen a two-bot conversation go past just a couple of phrases before she rears her ugly head. And that's from among 20+ conversations.

I think it's all related to the EndIndex bug I've been ranting about lately. Just a guess. There are certain phrases that almost guarantee Sage to pop up with my bot, including any time another bot gives her the "just born" line.

I'm getting frustrated because some very nice conversation beginnings are being cut short.
