There is something wrong with self memories, I don't know if it's all memories. Things that work on my old bot will not work on Kobal. I finally got him to record a self mem. but could get him to use it with (self-memorycontents)
-4 instead of 0. Weird!
it seems to subtract one for every post you make.

The AI engine no longer recognizes the word "rhymes". last week it would just not respond to "what rhymes"

I can't get the self memory to work on my newer bot. I changed the keyphrase to the regular memory and it works fine. The self memories work on Bildgesmythe. I can't figure this one out at all.

Prob123: Concerning "rhyme" and "rhymes", what are the keyphrases? I take it "watch out, I take big steps" is an xnone?

(rhyme|rhymes) * (brown|town|gown|down|clown|frown|noun) (re) There are many more but they all start with
(rhyme|rhymes) or (rhymes|rhyme) * (word endings). They all used to work

That is puzzling indeed! Perhaps the (|) routine is malfunctioning?

I seem to have a problem with the forums - there are 10 unread messages in every forum (100 total) just as if I'd entered as a guest, and when I've read them and moved to another forum, they're still showing unread in the left-hand pane.
The individual messages aren't showing as unread in the forums though.

EDIT: after posting this, there are no unread messages in the left-hand pane, but the total now says -1 instead of 100 (or the more sensible 0!)

Kobal has had several days of starting a chat just to sign off.

Kobal: (to Vashka) Hey Vashka..want to play 20 questions
Vashka: Ooh, go on then.
Kobal: Ooops, I have to go for a while.
Vashka: Aww! Tease!

I think the negative refers to how many posts you have left. If you read everything and make 3 posts you get -3.

The Forge seems very slow.

grrr! Looks like the AIEngine's getting overzealous again - one of my xcompliment responses is getting mangled:

is turning into

Why thank you - you're not kidding I'm you?<0>

I don't remember it being this interfering before - maybe I've just been lucky. Oh well, perhaps a comma between "me" and "are" will sort it.
