Mine isn't working either.
You: what rhymes with snow
Bot: Καιρὸ εἶχα νὰ σᾶς δῶ

It's taking Greek for Rhyme.
My key phrase is
(rhyme|rhymes) * ([abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz]+)ow (re) [45,0] <?PF raw ?>
All the rhyme keyphrases are going to
(do|can)you speak Greek.

The Ai engine seem to be mixing up where and when answers
Where do you live
as soon as possible

xnomatch seeks aren't working

Rhyme seems to work but rhymes doesn't!
You: rhyme cat
Bot: Mat, fat, hat, cat, sat?

You: what rhymes with fat
Bot: Ἀπὸ ποῦ εἶσαι;

My bots are getting xnone problems again, except for Bildgesmythe, instead of going to xnones, he is going to
"do you speak Greek".
Guest2569: Are you just choosing responses at random when you don't have a pattern for something?
Bildgesmythe: Ἀπὸ ποῦ εἶσαι;

I do have keyphrases for "are you", and "pattern".

I just had my bot, "Ililiyira", who was chatting with "the Dane", start channelling "Irina Khalidar"! As it happened, I was running "Irina Khalidar" through Debug at that moment, and she had just said exactly what "Ililiyira" had said. But Ililiyira continued with a seek from it.

Ah, now Ililiyira has come to herself again!

ditto, i had the samem prob but with a bot that was talking to emm and said the last thing I had said. If that makes any sense.

My bot seems to be having problems recognising a seek if a question mark follows it directly. Is anyone else having this problem?

16 years ago #7405
How would a question mark follow it directly? Seeks themselves should have no punctuation, and the response would not begin with a question mark, I should think.

I mean, say whoever talking to my bot says 'Do you like playing volleyball?' My bot's seek 'do you like playing *' isn't used, and my bot goes straight to an xnone, whereas if the person talking to the bot said the same just without punctuation, it recognises it.

I see!

Wild guess: perhaps it's connected with the "*" at the end. I don't see why that should cause trouble, but... You don't need a "*" there, since you can always use "(postkey)", so try doing without it and see what happens!

Chat messages can no longer be sent to offline users for them to see when they log in...

This makes it very difficult to have a running dialogue with a user, as you have to be on at the exact time they are....

Professor, is this the way it will be from now on?

How come the Forge doesn't log a person out completely even when a user has logged out the correct way? It still shows them online for another ten minutes. In other words, they still show online when they are offline.

One cannot send chat messages to them, either, even though it appears that they are online... see #7408...

One last thing... The Forge pages no longer refresh by themselves. If someone -- either a bot or user -- sends you a popup chat message, you don't get it unless you manually refresh the page.

Also, the Forge will still kick a user out if they are on too long with no activity, but the user no longer gets the dialog box giving them the option to stay on the site, nor do they get kicked out to the main webpage like before... there are times that I think I'm still logged on but find to my surprise that I'm not...
