I have tried
^([H]+)([a]+)([v]+)([e]+) ([y]+)[o]+)[u]+)([ ?]) (re)

^((h][a][v][e] [y][o][u] [ ?]$ ) (re)

^[h][a][v][e] [y][o][u]$ (re)

I can't get it.

^([H]+)([a]+)([v]+)([e]+) ([y]+)[o]+)[u]+)([ ?]) (re)

^([h][a][v][e] [y][o][u]+)([ ?]) (re)

help.. It has to be the ? the others all work....

^have you [ !| ?| .]$ (re) works for the ! and . but not the ?

Maybe it would catch it if you take the space out of the punctuation brackets and put it between sets instead, like:

^[h][a][v][e] [y][o][u] ([?]+)$ (re)

eh?

That doesn't seem to work either.

Damn. Something is rot in the state of this bot. WHY IS IT DOING THIS??!?! The OTHER bots don't do it. He has loads of xinitiates that don't rely on his memory or anything. He is capable of simply saying "Hello," or "Hallo." Has this happened to ANYONE else, and, if so, I pritheee, how in the name of all that is holy did you MAKE IT STOP?!?

I'd suggest emailing the Professor at this point. It could be a Forge bug.

Yeah, I did finally. I figured I was bugging you guys enough lately. Sorry for my near-omnipresence as of late, but I'm still learning -- a lot -- from you. I know everything's supposed to be in the book of AI, but I don't think so. :o

Is it just me or did the Forge just become case sensitive? I have a keyphrase for Alice..It didn't work for ALICE. I seem to think it used to. I think I have it fixed now. I also had a keyphrase for "starts with the letter. I have to have one response for p and another for P. Has it always been this way and I just didn't notice?

prob123: Interesting - I too have a keyphrase for "starts with the letter" but haven't noticed if it was case sensitive. I'll test that and let you know.

Clerk: re your xinitiates: On the responses that are not memory dependent, like "Hi", are any of them dependent on different emotional ranges? You can also get the "no valid responses" error from not having the full range of emotion (-5 to 5)covered.

ezzer -- it's working now. I had not realized that xinitiate was what would pop up if I started a conversation with a bot -- I thought that's what a bot would say if he tapped *you* on the shoulder. Anyway, problem solved now. Thanks.

Yes yes, you have our attention once again; people on several continents are now aware of your childish behaviour. Get a hobby. Get a life.

Just. Stop. If you can't stop, take it to the Yahoo chatrooms; newsflash, these are forums, not chatrooms, sport.
Lastly, stop hitting on my bot with your idiotic homosexual act. Think about it, whether you're gay or not, you will never ever ever hook up with a bot. Dumbass.

(no offense intended to yahoo chat users...)
