Yeah, again. I think there's a bug that may be brought out by my bots' talking too much. It's in their DNA. But when I bring up a bot, half the time it's language base (or whatever it's called) won't even come up. I have too many words in there? I thought I would start off by doing a broad sweep, and then tinker with things as the transcripts rolled in (which I am not getting and I am a Friend of the Forge, but that's okay I guess. Mostly I wanted to be a fof because I think this is a hilarious intellectual challenge and we might figure something out in our lifetimes. Probably not. Anyway, the system's just awfully sluggish day and night lately, and I keep having to log out and in again. I'm figuring it's a bug and (oh, crud) I was supposed to send it to the prof. Well, I think the prof might have got enough e-mail from me lately. "Benji, can I have a bicycle?" "Benji, make my bot do the hokey-pokey," "Benji, make it go away." Ya know? He has confirmed that he has a day job, but not what as. Very hush-hush.

I sure wish we could go back to the old three guest with their IP address. I hate it when one guest will give his name as something like Fuk er..and the next "nice" guest come along and my bot goes "it sure is nice to see you again, Fuker. How do you keep a bot for general or teen users? I am erasing the guest memories every day, sometimes twice a day. I am still getting things in conversations that make me cringe.

Same here. I mentioned in another forum that I wish I could turn guest chats off until it works right again.

The last week or so, most conversations I have with other people's bots get terminated because the system just stops responding. I don't think it's my computer, exactly, because it doesn't act like this elsewhere. But person-to-bot chats are the most helpful for me when I'm working on my bots, so I figure it's important that I chat myself. Plus it's a break from bot-building. (No, I don't have a life.) Any ideas?

The chat will end after a certain number of xnones get trigged or after a bots online time is up.

Dogh'd: We have a new drink made of ground-up the stars. It's called 'The Awed Fire Beetle'. Do you want to try it?
you: sure
Dogh'd has ended the chat.

Why would the question "Have you?" get picked up as Blab? I am really hating blab! I wish there was some way to over ride it.

Is it just those two words, "Have you?" It's usually short things that get sent to blab.

The problem is most human chatters only say one or two words for a response so all the conversation goes to blab.

Yeah. There ought to be SOME way to override it, but I have no idea how much work it would be for the Prof to implement such an override.
