what do you mean he has no doors???
Reference to the film The Matrix - Neo remarks on deja vue when he sees the same cat walk past a door, and is told that it's caused by "a glitch in the matrix". They then find all the external doors and windows have been reprogrammed bricked up. So now we're just waiting for the horde of armed agents to descend, and carry Fizzy away for interrogation

I was doing regex's the old way (back before there was RAW)
\"you live in (noun)$ (re)\"
It removed all of them when I uploaded
time to rebuild em the correct way I suppose

I found that often the error messages on imports refer to the line above the one reported. For example, if you put in a + no and forget to add a response for it, the error message will tell you the next keyphrase is not indented properly.
And another vote for TextPad. I've been using it exclusively for years. Now with WIldEdit it's even better. I'm thinking about writing a syntax file for PF, if anyone's interested. My biggest import problem is forgetting to put [0] after Seeks. Royal PIA, especially if you routinely put + yes, + no, + nomatch after the bot asks a question. Hundreds of the bloody things to search through.

Uh, I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but in the Language Center, when you're adding new responses, the number 3 is listed twice on the side where it numbers how many responses you have. (Man, I am awful at explaining things.)

Actually, whichever line has the last entered response will have its number duplicated. So if you've got three responses, the next line down will be 3____________. No clue why, but it holds until you fill them all up.

THe HANGUP code has an odd problem. Even with Compound Sentences off, it can pick up a conversation continuer from xnone (or some other location), and not only does that abort the HANGUP, it displays (HANGUP.. How are you?) and takes you back into the conversational stream. The HANGUP I'm working on is inside a closed loop that eventually triggers it. This problem defeats the primary purpose of the loop, which is to isolate a noxious user and discourage him by responding to everything with the same responses.
As near as I can tell, the Compound Sentences checkbox and the Bot Holidays checkboxes do not work.

I have a question that I was wondering if someone could answer. I have noticed my bot has given inappropriate responses to people, assuming too broadly that the user's input was a command. For example, "thank you" is interpreted like the user is commanding the bot to thank itself, and "LOL" as the user asking the bot to laugh! Can this be solved by just making the rank super high, and if so, how high does it need to be? Thanks!
