Xnonitis is back

19 years ago #5946
oh. i've been mostly ok with my bots... no sine of xnoneitis with me..is it just starting up?

I think there's a problem with this site for Firefox users. The pop-ups for chat are blocked, and there is no message saying they were. So I'm stuck on IE if I want to visit the Forge.

Make sure it's on your allowed list for popups, it should work then.
Tools > Options > Content
Click on the button for allowed sites, and add the forge to that list. (with and without www)

I use Firefox with no problem here, but you have to put the PF on the allowed popups list. Do this by going to Tools > Options > Content (Tab) > Allowed Sites (Button) and typing in www.personalityforge.com as an allowed site.

Firefox works fine for me too - ditto to the above advice on enabling pop ups. I do notice that sometimes messages appear in the forums without being flagged as "new", but apart from that it all seems to work OK.

No sign of x-noneitis here - was that just a false alarm, or is it just taking its time to creep up on us do you suppose?

why would anyone put a false alarm psimagus?? that would be soo stupid!

19 years ago #5952
well, it probably looked like a real alarm at the time, but it doesn't seem to have developed.

oh rite.

Ah, thanks.

If you have the adblock extension in Firefox, you have to "whitelist" the PF. That caught me right after an update once. Still there is no need for IE.
