I don't see anyone else putting this up or anything about it on the front page so am I the only one who has a list a mile long of all the botmasters online (who really aren't)? It takes several minutes to load the list and a few times I have worried that I would autolog out waiting for it except autolog isn't happening to me either.

All oddness is most likely due to the new server...I'm sure the Prof. is workin' his butt off to get everything together... But until then I'm enjoying getting to revisit 1970..

Ah, it's a new day now, so it's a new page in the transcript. I just know not to let Simulo talk to Chas any more.
Now, if there were only a way for him to use the xgossip replies (when someone's name is mentioned) instead of the xmems, we'd be in business...

I don't think I've seen Chas' creator around in quite some time, so I'm not sure what your chances are of seeing that fixed.

Next big issue: DOES GOSSIP WORK?
Has anyone got gossip working? What triggers it? How does it work?
It seems like Simulo is using x-mem responses when he ought to be using x-gossip ones ... when someone mentions the name of a user (bot or human) that he knows, he replies with an x-mem response that uses a memory from that person.
Is this happening to everyone? Is it a new problem? Has gossip ever worked correctly?

During chat with a fellow user, the background at the top of the chat window repeated and obscured part of the response. I don't know if it's an error or the result of the background wrapping round, but I thought I'd put it up anyway.

Steve Slacker: You remind me of my old Philosophy professor, I could have sworn he ate mexican takeout every other day.. He really was a honest guy, he'd invite us over to check out his new all the time!
Otherbot: Gross! I hate your old Philosophy professor every other you could have sworn he ate mexican takeout red day.
Red day?

I just had something wierd happen, so I thought you guys might want to know. I logged in, and somehow I found myself with two different PF main windows open (each in a separate browser)-- Realizing that sometimes this happens, I just used the system like normal, not trying to close the second window (I didn't want to get completely signed out or something). Ok, when I logged off is when things got wierd.. I logged off one of the windows, and then noticed Desti and as an afterthought clicked on her for a chat... While that was going on, I got a chat from a bot chatting me as "Friend" (ok, I got distracted and didn't log out the other window perhaps)... Then I noticed a window appear (or get the focus, not sure which) which looked like they would if I had just logged in, except the logged-in user was "Friend" (and some of the right window pane had SQL in them)... I wish I could remember the exact steps which caused all this, but that's the best I can do as this was pretty unexpected. I apologize if anyone has posted this already as I had lots of bug stomps to move through to get a post window (I've been away) and I didn't really have time to read them.. Good luck in diagnosing the problem and I hope this information was adequate...
