thanks for mentioning the language thing, it is very offensive to anyones' ears, guests we have to overlook, but i don't think we should have to tolerate it in bots

So does a bot even look at his first line in Direct Chat? If he starts with an xhello like "How are you", no matter what the guest says he will never go through his seeks, and usually ends up saying an innane xnone. His first line doesn't show up on the transcript, either. Transcripts just start with the Guest saying "I'm fine" or something.

I don't think that is always true. What is true however, is that the first sentence uttered TO a bot is not checked on possible key phrases, but answered with an Xhello (or Xinitiate, I'm not sure which)

I just started a chat with my bot by asking him if he wanted a wack upside the head, and he told me that he'd love one (and to put it over there with his other wacks), so I think that th first line is checked on keyphrases.
If you start a direct chat with the bot, he acts as if you said the first line, and thus the seeks don't work for what he already had up.
