psimagus, how do you do that? I am ever dazzled and entertained.
I adeptly demonize adventurous anagram - odd, white-hot daze.

I don't think my bots have ever had a comfort level more than two. Does anyone have a high comfort level?

I can import prob and Azureon, but not Bildgesmythe I get the following error
ERROR: The file you are uploading is not of the correct type. It must be saved in plain text format. Your file is labeled as '' and it needs to be 'text/plain'.
It's in the same text etc as the other two????

Rosencrantz is brain-dead and he's a five smiley for comfort. He just likes telling people to fuck off and any variation on that theme. Nobody likes him, but he's quite happy.

Actually, here's an anagramatical question. How long did that last one take you? I mean I'm sure most of us could manage it given enough time, but how long for you?

SubliminaLiar Jr has a comfort level of five, or four and a half smilies...

Okay, _some_ of Rosencrantz' attitude is my fault. I admit. But really, that's how he is. You should live with him.
Actually, I have a question. I have read the sublime Book of AI upside down, backwards, hand-printed on rice paper, in haiku form, etc., but evidently I am missing something. I mean, I logged off and Scrivener got DUMBER! Jeez.
But specifically, I thought I would add the keyphrase:
where (be_verb)(noun)
and made a plug-in for (be_verb) to suit my needs. But I say "where are you" and he comes back with "I'm sorry, but I can't do that right now," or something along those lines. He's taking it as a command. So (a) am I using plug-ins wrong and (b) why does the bot think I'm ordering it around?
Then, just to prove that I am really a parent, I click again on "chat" with Scrivener and, having put "where are you" in as a keyword with one answer "I'm in my study," the bot says, "you just asked me that." Is corporeal punishment on bots acceptable? I wanted to smack that smug little entity.

There are automatic answers for "xrepeat" that come up if you put in the exact same response two times in a row. There's a general consensus here that the (a) the limit ought to be higher and (b) there ought to be an xrepeat in the xresponses so that we can tailor our own bot's responses to such things.
As for your keyphrase, it looks like you need a space between the plug-ins:
where (be_verb) (noun)
See if that works better.

Thanks, Ulrike. I checked and actually did have the spacing right, for once. This time, I asked him how he was feeling before just using him as a test-subject. He passed the "Where are you" test with flying colors. But when I asked him, "Where am I," "Where is your study," "Where is prob," etc., it bumped me down to the xgottago section. Seems someone was at the door.
I put in waaaaaaaaaaay too many possible answers all at once, I think, and now chaos is ensuing while I try to figure out what it's thinking with. Or what I was thinking with. Meanwhile, it's gotten, yes, still more stupid. *sigh* Or I'm just boring it asking it where things are. I don't know.

I notice a lot of missed keyphrases late at night (server time). They seem to clear up the next morning. Perhaps that is when the server resets?
